He apologized but we all know he really meant it.
It was a poor choice of words, I didn’t mean anything by it. I was kind of joking around with my buddy over there, so I do want to apologize.
He did get a hit in the All-Star game that set up a 1st and 3rd with no outs in the 5th and then the eventual sac fly from Lance Berkman to give the NL a 2-0 lead. That is until Billy Wagner blew it in the 8th and let the American League tie the game. Brad Lidge took the loss but had also warmed up 6 times --thank you Dan Uggla for having the worst performance ever! 0-4 with 3ks, GIDP, and 3 errors that should have let the American League win. I really don't care anymore; I', anxious for Friday when the Phils take on the Marlins in Florida for a 3-game series.
Chipper Jones can no sooner be cut out of the picture above.
