162 games is a long season. To have been dudded 2 years running by teams with a lesser winning record for a playoff spot is wrong. Whats the point of it all when you've performed better but still miss out. Lump all the teams together in the standings and have a top 4 for the playoffs. 1 v 4, 2 v 3. Thats how we do it down under. Simple.
