No More Kyle Korver!

The Sixers have traded Kyle Korver to Utah for Gordon Giricek and a first round pick. I'm only sad to see Kyle go because he was my sister's favorite player but in the long run I think the Sixers will definitely benefit. Plus I think, Giricek's contract expires this year so we'll see. And more importantly the Sixers are 13-16 and only half a game out of the 8th playoff spot. I like to dream.

The Phillies have not had a big trade but that's expected. Boston kept everyone and the Phillies don't have a lot of trade bait, well maybe Chase Utley but that's not going to happen.

Happy holidays and hopefully I'll post more frequently and not once a month.

Oh yeah, go Giants and Penn State (just because Texas A&M cheeerleaders are fucking stupid.)

I am a Champ and finally completely over it.

It's been over a month since the Phillies lost in the playoffs and I am finally over it. I'm looking forward to next season because of all the expectations like making the playoffs again and maybe winning a game. So for right now it's all about the 4-6 Sixers who I actually like and the 2-8 Miami Heat. Lovable losers I guess.

And
why am I a champ?

It's a little blurry so I'll explain. I finished the game gridlock and completed Level 40. It's so loserish but it's quite the accomplishment.

And finally...Jimmy for MVP!

Sixers and Andre

Andre Iguodala had 23 points, 15 assists, and 7 rebounds in the Sixers overtime win over the hopeless New Jersey Nets. Andre Iguodala is becoming the star player of the Sixers much like Ryan Howard of the Phillies.

I will be going to the Sixers-Jazz game on March 16 to get Andre Iguodala's autograph. I am going to paint a picture of him and get him to sign it. Which picture should I paint? Vote Please!

Obviously I wait too long between posts

Well the Phillies haven't done much big since the signing of Freddie Garcia so some more useful additions would be nice. Maybe Johan Santana would like to become a Phillie.

The Sixers are trash so hopefully they can continue being trash and get something good in the draft. And Chris Webber has played his last game as a Sixer...rumor has it that pending a physical him the 76ers have agreed to a buyout. At least the Sixers beat the Nuggets. They have a little bit of pride.

The Eagles have been a Cinderella story and have won 6 straight games. They look to make it 7 straight when they play the Saints on Saturday Night. Jeff Garcia is now everyone's hero.

& This girl is such a beast. Emily Fox you're my second hero.

Allen Iverson trade is finally done and he's now a Denver Nugget. -Sigh- It's sad but definitely time to move on.

Jayson Werth signed to a one-year deal with the Phillies. He's a creepy looking man.

Friday the 13th

Since I've forgotten about this blog for like 9 months, I have a lot to catch up on. First off, one of the best days of my life:
1/13/06 - such a wonderful day. The day the Sixers & Celtics went into Triple Overtime in Phila. The game ended at 12:00 at night and my throat was sore from screaming. Nothing better than being around a whole bunch of Philadelphians that you can talk to like you've known them your whole life. As Mark Zumoff said: The Sixers and Celtics were extraordinary. Oh Yeah. Andre Iguodala = my Life. So my sister agreed to take me to any game I wanted as long as I paid for it. Of course I said yes. I went online and randomly picked a game. I picked the Sixers/Celtics game because it was the soonest. Not only did I not realize that it was Friday the 13th but going to the game in person is the greatest thing. Next time, I'll definitely get better seats. Hopefully next to Bibby with his spiffy suits or even Andre3000. More games to come. I'm definitely going to the season opener next season. The Sixers actually drafted players that play defense!%^&* How exciting but not more than watching the Sixers win in 3OT.
